TalenIQ Consulting Pvt Ltd (“TalenIQ”, “we”, “us”) is a recruitment company based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (CIN: U74999DL2018PTC341144). This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the rules made under it. For this processing, TalenIQ is the Data Fiduciary.
1. Personal data we collect
- Employers and enquirers: name, company, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, and the hiring details you enter (roles, locations, timelines, messages).
- Candidates: name, email, mobile number, city, industry, experience, notice period, LinkedIn URL, and the CV you upload with the work and education history in it.
- Technical data: the IP address of a form submission (used only for spam and abuse protection) and, if you allow analytics cookies, usage data collected by Google Analytics.
Please do not include sensitive information such as Aadhaar or PAN numbers, bank details, health information or religion in a form or CV. We do not need it at this stage.
2. Why we use it (purposes)
- To respond to a hiring enquiry and to provide recruitment services to employers.
- To assess a candidate for current and future roles, contact the candidate about them and, only after the candidate agrees to a specific role, share the profile with that employer.
- To keep the website secure and to prevent spam and misuse.
- If you accept analytics cookies, to understand in aggregate how the website is used.
3. Consent and withdrawal
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, or for legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@taleniqconsulting.com. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent; it does not affect processing already carried out, and we will stop processing and delete your data within a reasonable time unless the law requires us to keep it.
4. Who we share it with
- Employers (clients): a candidate’s profile, only for a role the candidate has agreed to be considered for.
- Group company: ValiantIQ Inc (USA), our group company, may support recruitment work. Data is shared with it only where needed for the purposes above.
- Service providers (Data Processors): website hosting, email delivery, our applicant tracking system and, if enabled, Google Analytics. They process data only on our instructions.
- Authorities: where required by law.
Some providers may store data outside India. Any transfer will follow the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting engagement. Candidate CVs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, or until you withdraw consent, whichever is earlier. Security logs are kept for a short period only.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may: ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing; ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it; nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and raise a grievance with us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Children
This website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Cookies
The site uses only the cookies needed for it to work and to remember your cookie choice. Google Analytics cookies are set only if analytics is enabled and you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice by clearing cookies in your browser.
9. Security
We use reasonable security safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to CVs and form records, and spam protection, to protect personal data against breach. If a breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board and affected people as the DPDP Act requires.
